OUR COMMITMENT TO CLIMATE ACTION

This Earth Day, we’re proud to announce that Women Moving Millions is officially carbon neutral.

As part of our dedication to advancing gender equality, we recognize that climate change disproportionately impacts women and girls—particularly those in marginalized communities around the world. That’s why, over the past six months, we’ve undertaken a rigorous emissions audit with our partners at Carbon Footprint to identify our environmental impact and take steps to offset our emissions moving forward.

This milestone would not have been possible without the leadership and vision of WMM Board Member, Judy McFarlane, whose commitment helped spark and shape this work:

Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time. While our operational footprint is modest, our responsibility to act is not. We will continue to contribute annually to offset our emissions—and more importantly, remain committed to reducing them wherever possible.
