As women’s rights face mounting pressures around the world, Women Moving Millions members are rising to meet the moment with clarity, courage, and the same moral imagination that has powered every major social advance in women’s history.

In this spirit of resolve, we are proud to share Catalyzing Change 2025, our second annual report on WMM members’ philanthropic giving. It captures how, even in a year of massive upheaval for women’s rights, our members deepened their commitment—advancing bold ideas, strengthening movements, and amplifying their collective impact across the gender equality ecosystem.

The headline: Member giving to women and girls increased by ten percent since last year, with a staggering 91% of members giving unrestricted dollars for some or most of their giving. More, it confirms the essence of what our unique community offers: greater connection, confidence, and opportunities for collaboration to members, increasing their willingness to give in new, bold ways by de-risking giving and supporting them to lean into leadership, creating impact that extends far beyond individual contributions and into the larger gender equality landscape.

Catalyzing Change 2025 reveals a community of women who are stepping forward with boldness: funding courageous ideas, backing movement leaders, challenging the status quo, and harnessing unprecedented economic power at a time when $32 trillion in wealth is moving into women’s hands. This historic convergence of urgency and opportunity reminds us that investing in women is the most strategic, exponential, and necessary action we can take to break through the backlash, and it underscores a truth we know well: together, we are unstoppable.
