Women's Power & Influence Matching Fund

WMM members mobilized nearly $11 million for 23 organizations through the Women’s Power & Influence Matching Fund. Launched in 2022 with a $5 million investment from Pivotal Ventures, a Melinda French Gates company, the Fund aimed to increase women’s economic, political, and cultural power, especially for women of color. Members responded boldly, expanding their giving and exploring new funding areas.

UN Generation Equality Forum

The 2021 UN Generation Equality Forum was a landmark moment for the global gender equality movement. WMM played a key role by galvanizing bold commitments and mobilizing resources for women and girls worldwide. Through our community’s collective leadership, we helped drive systemic change, advancing gender equity on a global scale. The forum underscored the power of trust-based philanthropy in shifting resources to frontline leaders and creating lasting impact.

Give Bold, #GetEqual Campaign

Our Give Bold, Get Equal campaign launched at a critical moment, mobilizing investments in gender equality during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a goal of driving $100 million to frontline leaders, we surpassed expectations by securing $111 million, demonstrating the strength of our community’s commitment. The campaign underscored the urgency of trust-based philanthropy and the need for sustained, bold action to advance gender equity.

All In For Her: A Call to Action

The All In For Her report in 2014 rallied WMM members and supporters to accelerate investments in women and girls. By mobilizing critical resources, the campaign unlocked bold, transformative support for organizations driving change. This initiative showcased the power of collective action and trust-based philanthropy, empowering frontline leaders and advancing gender equality across the globe.
